Roasted Acorn Squash

Shopping list

  • 1 acorn squash
  • 2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Everglades All Purpose Seasoning

Preheat oven to 375 Degrees F. Cut acorn squash in half length wise *be careful when cutting it* slice a very thin layer off the bottom of each side to make it level. Scoop the inside seeds of the acorn squash out.

Place hollow side of each half up on cake pan. Place 1/2 of garlic, butter and olive oil in each 1/2. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of Everglades All Purpose Seasoning on each half.

Place in preheated oven for about 2 hours. Every 30 minutes spoon garlic mixture to the side of the hollow area and edge of the acorn squash. After the 2 hours you can serve right in the squash or scoop out.
